 The
Valve World 2002 Conference & Expo, the international
platform for valve and piping professionals, takes place in
Maastricht, Netherlands, from November 12 to 14. As a headline
sponsor of the show, Velan will be intimately involved in
most areas of the event, with several speakers from Velan
presenting on such topics as the future of the industry, valve
reliability, actuation and control, and valve application
and selection. Organized by KCI and chaired by Mr. Ray Bojarczuk,
head of ExxonMobil's Accepted Manufacturer List (AML) Committee
for piping and valves, the conference promises to be a valuable
meeting point for valve and piping professionals from all
over the world. Apart from people attending the conference
and the workshops, the exhibition will attract a large number
of international visitors. Over 6,000 Expo visitors are expected
to attend, in addition to the conference delegates. Velan's
Expo booth will display many recent Velan developments, including
the new Power Ball Valve, the growing Torqseal Triple-Offset
Butterfly Valve range, hydrofluoric alkylation valves, and
the bi-metallic steam trap line reacquired from Plenty. To
