Primary responsibilities:
- Ensure the plant’s compliance with our quality certification
- Ensure that materials, processes and finished products meet the quality standards established by the organization
- Assist the QC Manager in the activities of the materiel review committee.
- Organizes and participates in quality audits, performed by internal or external auditors
- Track metrics and KPIs to identify trends in nonconformities and initiate plant-wide quality improvement plans

Requirements
If you have:- High school and/or college diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in quality control, ideally in a pressure vessel manufacturing environment (valves, piping, etc.) or manufacture of metal structures
- 2 to 3 years of management of office and/or unionized staff (is an asset)
- Knowledge of relevant ASME/ASTM specifications
- Knowledge of QA manuals and practices regarding manufacturing, certification, marking and stamping requirements applicable to products
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME B16.34, ISO 9001)
- Bilingualism – French and English
