We are looking for a Senior Stress Engineer to join our team!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and document the technical basis for design calculations and models
- Review tenders and valve specifications, identify technical requirements and recommend exceptions and clarifications as necessary
- Assist in the resolution of contractual technical issues
- Support the design process by providing input to designers and reviewing design calculations
- Review and approve manufacturing drawings
- Develop procedures and acceptance criteria for structural and functional testing.
- Support the field engineering department by performing forensic analysis and root cause assessments
- Support organizational initiatives and provide technical support as defined by management
- Initiate and support technical development and training of engineering personnel.

Requirements
If you have:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Member of the OIQ (Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec)
- 10+ years of experience in the design, analysis and qualification of pressure vessels, pressure components or similar equipment
- Knowledge of Section III, Division 1 of the ASME B&PV Code as it relates to valve design and fabrication. Participation in Code activities is desired.
- Experience in the design of globe valves, check valves, ball valves, and triple-offset valves, including pneumatic and motorized valves (asset).
