Member of the Valve Project Management (VPM) department, the Project Specialist is responsible for supporting the Project Manager for a specific portfolio of managed projects (complex/high risk valve orders). For each project, he/she will directly work with a full-scale set of standardized project management processes and tools, and will be responsible to prepare the weekly project governance report and note its related minutes/actions, maintain the project plan (Gantt chart), update and follow up on the recorded issues/risks, and prepare the customer status reports. More specifically, he/she will be responsible to:- Develop and maintain schedule Gantt chart
- Prepare kickoff reviews and support by completing related project deliverables (e.g. risk assessment form)
- Prepare report presentations
- Consolidate status report presentations
- Take notes of issues/risk raised at governance reviews and register in VPM issues tracking tool
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Commerce would be preferable
- DESS, master degree in Project Management is an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience related to project management
- Passion for project management
- Active listening
- Ability to write clear and informative reports in English
- Data gathering, analysis and synthesis
