In the context of Velan being in a transformation journey towards becoming a project manufacturing organization, the Project Initiative Leader is responsible for the development of the Project Management department processes, tools and infrastructure under the leadership of the Director of Project Management.Main functions
- Leads a portfolio of strategic initiatives related to the development of the Velan Project Management (VPM) process
- Leads the development of project management templates & tools, focuses on their automation, and coaches project specialist/analysts on their usage
- Documents project management policies & processes
- Manages the development & maintenance of VPM Dashboard (KPIs)
- Develops the roadmap of project management processes/policies to be developed in the short-term & medium-term
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Commerce
- Postgraduate degree in Project Management or PMP certification is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience related to project management
- Experience in management of strategic initiatives or process development initiatives
- Passion for project management
- Ability to write clear and informative reports in English
- Data gathering, analysis and synthesis
