Velan is looking for a candidate to fill an expedition assistant (evening) position at its Montreal plant.In this role, you will report to the Production Foreman.
Shift available for this role: EVENING.
Hourly rate : 26.31$-28.61$/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture packaging of all sizes for delivery of our products
- Be able to unpack raw materials
- Must handle hoists and cranes to lift heavy loads
- With the use of a forklift, the candidate must load and unload different types of trucks

Requirements
- Able to handle carpentry tools
- Must hold a forklift license
- Able to handle heavy loads with cranes and hoists
- Ability to read shipping instructions on Velan internal purchase orders
- Ability to communicate with trucking companies
- Knowledge of French and English (bilinguism)
