To supervise an evening shift production team, we are looking for a Foreman for our Montreal plant!At Velan, we stand out for the values that drive us, our leadership, and the passion that all members have in achieving results. Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Health and Safety within the business area, employee performance, equipment, assembly and testing, and employee training plan.
- Define, direct, and monitor production objectives (daily meetings, various committees).
- Ensure the follow-up and respect of deadlines and budgetary objectives.
- Manage daily production activities and maintain operational standards, work sequence.
- Responsible for quality and apply the problem-solving process to eliminate issues at the source.
- Make improvements to ensure profitability and efficiency of the team.

Requirements
- College Technical Diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering or the equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in management of unionized personnel in a manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of an ERP system (asset).
- Bilingual in French and in English.
