We are looking for a Project Quality Assurance Specialist, reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
• Perform quality contract review of projects
• Write Instructions (QCI, ITP, procedures) that reflect requirements contained in customer’s order and specifications
• Submittal of documentation and follow up with customer (QCIs, ITP, procedures, etc.)
• Participate as QA representative in Project Management (clear and timely communication with internal and external customers)
• Participate in the development and the implementation of various Velan standard quality procedures and instructions

Requirements
If you have:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering; OIQ membership is an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years work in an engineering field; experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Quality management in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment; experience in NCA-4000 quality assurance systems is an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Bilingual: French and English; Superior English communication and writing
