Reporting to the Manager, Project Execution, the Project leader is responsible for the planning & execution of a specific portfolio of Followed Projects (simple/low risk valve orders). He/she will use a light-scale set of standardized project management processes & tools, mainly a structured high-level project plan and issues/risk management system. More precisely, he/she is responsible to:- Lead the high-level planning of valve projects (Level 0 milestones)
- Ensure the integrated project plan is well aligned & sound; address project plan disconnects
- Initiate correctives actions when issues/risks are raised.
- Enter orders into ERP system
- Communicate all corrections and changes made to the order
- Manage the customer regarding requirements clarity, deliverables & inspections attendance
Requirements
- University degree in engineering or administration
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years in project management
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat. Baan is an asset)
- Excellent communication skills in English (2nd & even 3rd language knowledge are an asset)
- Ability to write clear and informative reports in English
- Apparent interest and experience in project management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and problems solving skills
- PMP certification is an asset
