Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning, the incumbent will be responsible for a team consisting of several planners, a scheduling coordinator and a planning analyst. The incumbent will ensure the execution of planning activities in a timely manner and according to MRP principles. In a context of transformation, he/she will be able to guide and support his/her team in the implementation of and compliance with the Master Production Schedule process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the plant's production planning department by forecasting, organizing and supervising the work of the planners (creation of work orders, validation of the purchase of required material and production scheduling) by ensuring alignment with the master production program and the plant's needs;
  • Actively participate in the implementation of the master production program in the plant by ensuring compliance with the production capacity;
  • Following the recent implementation of an APS (Advanced Planning Scheduling), participate in the integration of the scheduling activity;
  • Contribute to the development of a production sequence in accordance with the master production program, jointly decided between the plant and the corporate organization;
  • Develop the KPIs and dashboards necessary for the execution and control of the scheduling activity;
  • Participate in corporate improvement projects involving production planning;
  • Oversee the implementation of supply forecasts and inventory levels;
  • Play an active role in the inventory process and inventory management.

Requirements

Qualifications and competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in operations management or related field;
  • Minimum 10 years experience in production planning and inventory control in the manufacturing field;
  • 3 years experience in personnel management;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel (advanced level);
  • Proven capabilities with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (advanced level);
  • Good knowledge of French and English (written and spoken).
